Two fences can look identical on install day and be completely different products. The difference shows up in year three.

Almost every failed fence we're called out to replace in Saratoga Springs failed for the same reason: the posts weren't set deep enough. A post in a shallow footing — or worse, tamped dirt — gets heaved a little further out of the ground with every freeze-thaw cycle. Add a six-foot privacy panel acting like a sail in the wind coming off Utah Lake, and the whole run starts to lean.

We set posts in concrete 30 inches deep or more, below frost depth, with wider footings on gate and corner posts where the load concentrates.
